CSS Sponsors and Participates in the University of Maryland Entrepreneurship and Innovations Program (EIP) Competition

CSS was proud to sponsor and participate in the University of Maryland’s Entrepreneurship and Innovations Program (EIP) – http://www.eip.umd.edu/index.html. Bob Cusack was honored to be a judge in the competition which had 17 very talented teams of sophomores and freshmen who presented their business ideas. Some very innovative ideas were presented – presentations had to be done in 4 minutes or under with a 2 minute questions and answer session. This alone was tremendous fe…at! A couple of the ideas included health bars made from unused foods gathered from restaurants (allowing less food waste), a pet finder app that matched pets up with people (reducing euthanasia and pet adoption costs), a new way to code addresses for quick geo lookups, and many others. As well as bragging rights winners also received cash awards. Pictures of the event can be found at: ter.ps/terptank2016
