Our Leadership team

A graduate of Virginia Tech and a Certified Public Accountant, Lisa did not imagine she would be CEO of an IT firm. As CEO, Lisa took on the responsibilities of corporate management, contracts administration, human resource management and financial management. In 2012, the Leesburg area that CSS is located in was designated a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone). Lisa performed the research and paperwork necessary for obtaining HUBZone certification for CSS.
Lisa Cusack, CEO
John is Custom Software Systems’ Business Intelligence Lead for predictive analytics and business intelligence solutions, including data architecture and implementation of end-user products to display complex data into simplified, actionable information. John has more than 25 years of experience in this field, designing data warehouses and data marts in a way that greatly accelerates the pace of development for the customer-facing dashboards provided to end-users.
John Edwards, Business Intelligence Lead
Bob graduated from the University of Maryland in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In his last semester he received a computer (a TI-99-4a!) as a gift and quickly taught himself Assembler and Basic.Bob’s initial focus with CSS was on providing IT support to Federal Government Regulatory agencies. He is now performing as the CSS Chief Operating Officer.
Robert Cusack, COO
Having joined CSS in 2015, Alyssa currently leads CSS’ Corporate Governance Program, focusing on the continuous improvement of CSS’ integrated quality, information security and service delivery management capabilities. She previously led several State of Maryland programs for CSS. Her career reflects leadership, management and consulting accomplishments across business transformation, governance, enterprise information management and enterprise applications development efforts.
Alyssa Krisko, Corporate Governance Program Manager
Desiré Ryan, Recruitment Manager/Quality Specialist joined CSS in 2018 to help with the recruiting efforts. She is experienced with more than fifteen (15) years of administrative, customer service, and supervisory experience, she has strong customer service and managerial skills. Ms. Ryan is team oriented with strong written and oral communication skills, she works well under short term deadlines, has strong problem solving and mediation and has the ability to multitask and prioritize efficiency.
