On August 17th, 2016 Custom Software Systems, Inc. was awarded a contract with the State of Maryland’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH). This contract is to support DHMH Prevention and Health Promotion Administration’s (PHPA) Infectious Disease Prevention and Health Services Bureau (IDPHSB). IDPHSB supports and oversees prevention and health services programs for prevention of new HIV, STI, and viral hepatitis infections and improve the health of persons impacted by these infectious diseases in Maryland. To support this work, the IDPHS collects, manages, reports and analyzes client-level HIV prevention and health services data to describe program processes and outcomes (e.g. client eligibility, clients served, services delivered, expenditures, health outcomes). The data systems that support the daily operations of two IDPHSB programs, the Maryland AIDS Drug Assistance Program (MADAP) and HIV Testing Program, utilize custom WebFOCUS software which includes dashboards, reports, and data migration/transformation programs.
CSS is supporting these programs through the provision of WebFOCUS programming for high priority system modifications. In addition, CSS will be responsible for enhancing the existing system through the development of new and/or modified software functionality as defined by State needs.
